Disability Awareness Course
What will I learn?
Improve the way you do social work with our Disability Awareness Training. It's made to give you, the professional, the skills you need to stand up for people with disabilities and understand them well. You'll learn good ways to talk to people, make plans to help them, and teach them how to speak up for themselves. You'll also learn how to find your way around social services, find the right help, and work with groups in the community. You'll get good at removing things that make it hard for people with disabilities to get around and understand their rights under the law. This training will make you better at telling people about disabilities and getting them involved, so we can build a community where everyone is included.
