Wilderness Medicine Course
What will I learn?
Learn the important things about treating people when you're far from towns or hospitals with our Bush Medicine Training. This training is made for doctors, nurses and clinical officers who want to get better at helping people in rural areas. You'll learn how to clean wounds, stop them from getting infected, and stitch cuts properly, even when things are difficult. You'll also become good at planning how to get very sick people to a hospital quickly, dealing with people who get sick from being too high up in the mountains, and giving basic life support using only what you have with you. We will make sure you are using the newest information available so that you can help people get the best treatment possible out in the bush.
